The free app is named “Note 2 Hidden Settings” and requires root access to do their work. Once this is granted, users can make many practical settings. Including:

  • camera and video recording clear sound
  • time-controlled transmission of messages enable
  • automatically switch on the device before the alarm goes off
  • infinite scrolling the home screens
  • and much more
  • Normally

Galaxy owners would change several system files manually to enable these features. Note 2 Hidden Settings allows access for all users and provides a “Reset” button if it should go wrong. Officially, the app is compatible with the Galaxy Note 2 and the Galaxy S4. It will also be available on other devices like the Galaxy S2, according to user reports, however. A prerequisite for the functioning of that you have installed a TouchWiz system. Custom ROMs based on AOSP are not supported.

A handy app that is definitely recommended for Galaxy owners. Does it really work to allow the device to automatically turn on an alarm clock ringing?
