Originally
the delivery of the new firmware for the two flagships from the last year from May to June was planned. This could now be nothing: Supposedly the Android 4.2.2 update delayed for Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II, because the work on the new version of TouchWiz drag something. That left the usually reliable site SamMobile know via Twitter.
It should be noted that all the information that there are far to the Android 4.2.2 update for the Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II, rumors are. Whether it actually is so and whether it is a matter of weeks or months, would be purely speculative at this point. Samsung has not yet officially commented on the new firmware.
a first impression of the firmware allowed a test firmware that was leaked a few weeks ago. A video that shows it on a Galaxy S III in action, can be found at this location.
