long been assumed that Retina Display by Apple as the ne plus ultra of the screens of mobile devices. But not just in resolution now numerous manufacturers have succeeded with their Full HD touchscreens that brilliant display, even in terms of brightness and color fidelity Apple now gets competition. Which comes from the current smartphone market leader Samsung, because apparently the South Korean manufacturer has delivered 3 with the Samsung Galaxy Note, the best ever display, which was installed in a mobile phone. Anyway come the professionals from the test laboratory of DisplayMate that have the OLED screen looked even closer to this conclusion. Not only was found that the display represents a significant increase to the Galaxy Note 2, but it is even better than that we also found to be very good display of the Samsung Galaxy S4.

the Galaxy Note 3 has loud DisplayMate with 660 candelas per square meter on the brightest screen of all devices tested there – even the very bright display of the iPhone 5 with a brightness of 600 candelas per square meter has to admit defeat there. It is up 55 percent brighter than that of the previous model, and at least 25 percent brighter than the Galaxy S4. Only at that – of DisplayMate apparently not tested – Sony Xperia P 935 candelas per square meter is the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in terms of display brightness not approach

.

also color reproduction and viewing angles are good

the color reproduction of the Galaxy Note 3 cuts in the manually adjustable color modes very well in the test from among the consumer products it supplies in the “Professional Photo” setting to Adobe RGB colors from standard well consistently good. Due to the relatively small mirroring the display to operate the Smartlets is probably not a problem in bright daylight. Also it is very stable perspective, losing a 30-degree angle only about 22 percent of its brightness – typical LCDs because more noticeable with 55 percent

.

Galaxy Note 3 to this day is regularly in the trade. Also in the Area Mobile Editor is a copy of the Smartlets already eingetrudelt – the full review will follow in the coming days. We have a first, very positive impression already in the hands-on at IFA in Berlin catch.
