Samsung Galaxy S3: first Android 4.3 firmware leaked I9300XXUGMJ9 - androidnext

After Android 4.3 already for the Galaxy S4 was published and showed up for the Galaxy Note 2 several times, is now also popular, one and a half years old Bestsellers Samsung Galaxy S3 in the series. Colleagues from SamMobile was a fairly recent, but not final test build for the Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300) in the software I9300XXUGMJ9 leaked version that can be flashed via ODIN already.

As it is now, the first, but still inoffoizielle Android 4.3 firmware for the Galaxy S3 (test) – it bears the firmware version I9300XXUGMJ9 and was 26 Compiled in October. According to SamMobile it has been running quite stable, and in view of the not yet final status still likely to find bugs here and there. Adventurous and experienced users can test 4.3 with this build definitely already on their Android Galaxy S3 models. As already indicated, this build is not compatible with the LTE version of the GT-I9305 former Samsung flagship model – only the model GT-I9300 can bring it to Android 4.3

The build shows, as

expected, several changes to the current firmware version 4.1.2: To the Core UI has been completely redesigned so that it is now identical to that on the Galaxy S4 (test) and Galaxy Note 3 ( test) is to be found – even the settings now have the tabbed interface, which is supposed to bring more clarity, but rather more confusion. Somewhat disappointing, however, is the fact that Samsung has left both Launcher and widgets in the old Galaxy S3 style. Moreover, in this build the controversial security solution Knox has not been implemented, although it was already confirmed that they will hold in this model collection.

Given that Samsung has provided for the Galaxy S3 since no further update Android 4.1.2 – Android 4.2 was skipped – it’s about time to release the update to Android 4.3. Last we heard, it is during the month of November – we tap the end of the month – will be released. When Android 4.3 was released in the final version, we will report of course – so stay tuned
