German Note 3 users are required to wait for the Android 4.4 update, whereas currently the first devices to be updated in the neighboring country of Switzerland. As the Fanblog SamMobile reported Samsung has started the distribution of around 380 megabyte firmware updates in the Alpine republic. Network World reveals how you can import the KitKat update.

The new firmware can be obtained via the synchronization software gravel as even played wirelessly – due to the size of the update, it is recommended in this case, but to use a WLAN connection. In order to check whether the update for the personal touch 3 is available, users have to switch to the device’s settings and there select the menu item “General”, “About device”, “Software Update.”

In addition to the new features of Android 4.4 KitKat the update also brings changes to the user interface TouchWiz. Thus, users can now find a button on the lock screen to go directly to the camera, also album covers are now displayed in the music playback on the lock screen.
