As someone once say, Samsung does not undertake product maintenance. The two smartphone flagships of 2012, namely Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 should still get another major update – the Android 4.4 KitKat .

On request, the site Android Geeks was a software developer Samsung that you have scheduled the update to Android 4.4 for Samsung Galaxy S3 and Note 2 for the end of the first quarter, shortly after the current flagship Samsung Galaxy S4 and Note 3 were supplied.

Larger functional changes to the software, however, will not give it, as the insiders, only the operating system base will be updated. This does, after all, that the numerous owners can look forward to the goodies that Google provides in Android 4.4 KitKat. These include a better memory management, a transparent status bar, support for cloud printers, and probably the white icons, which are also found now on Android 4.4 on the Galaxy S4 and Note 3.

in December circulated the news that Samsung pulls a KitKat update for older devices the middle and lower class into consideration. These would presumably benefit from better resource utilization in the current Android version disproportionately.

If the information to be authentic by android.gs, we would not fail to praise Samsung that the Group does not forget his older devices – although we remain of experience especially in terms of the March release date initially skeptical. Too often there was at Samsung showstoppers thanks to the updates were delayed by months. We of course you know when there is news, official pronouncements on the subject or even firmware leaks in advance.
