New Android update for Galaxy Note 2 and S3 in sight - Big-screen.de

For owners of a Samsung Galaxy S3 or Galaxy Note 2 there is obviously good news: The electronics giant apparently working on “Kitkat” updates for the two devices, which would thus obtain the currently current Android

reported side Android geeks who relies on the testimony of a software developer from Samsung. Thus, both the Galaxy S3 as well as the note 2 to the end of the first quarter 2014 Kitkat updates (Android 4.4.2) so no later than the end of March are obtained. An official confirmation or announcement from Samsung, there is not yet, however.

The developer explained further in any case, that there would be no major functional changes, as the Android-based’ll “only” brought up to date. For owners of the devices, this nevertheless does some good improvements since Android 4.4 “Kitkat” brings with it various optimizations. Among other things, the improved memory management of performance is likely to do well.

If the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 actually get Android 4.4 from Samsung, then the company deserves praise for it.
